Description

This map is from the 1830s. It was originally made in 1723 and is a detailed rendition of lower Manhattan, New York settled by the Dutch. It was then reprinted in the 1830s by John Slater Bookseller.
The map is hand water colored, mounted on linen and mounted behind museum quality glass. An extremely rare map the details are amazing, this is museum quality and in very good condition considering it is over 180 years old.
A few water marks and some wear common with the age, Listing Wall Street, Broadway and details still in accurate in lower Manhattan today.
